Count out 8 threads from design and backstitch over 4 threads around design. For the second piece, backstitch same number.

Trim both pieces 8 threads from backstitch line. Fold each piece inward, and finger press. The backstitch line should be on the fold.

Matchup and starting at one corner, begin attaching the front and back together by whip stitching through each pair of back stitches using 2 strands of floss. Continue whip stitching and when you have and inch to go, fill with the stuffing pellets and then close.

Make 4 tassels and attach at the 4 corners.

Count out 6 threads from design and backstitch over 4 threads around the design. Do the same on the second piece. Trim both pieces 6 threads from the backstitching. Fold each piece inward and finger press. The backstitch line should be on the fold

Match up back stitching and starting at one corner, begin attaching the front and back by whip stitching through each pair of back stitches using 2 strands of floss. Whip stitch until you have about 1 inch to go, fill with stuffing pellets and then close.

Attach cording to one corner and on the opposite corner, attach a tassel.

To make a tassel: Use 36” of floss, Wind around a 1 ½” piece of cardboard. Cut through at one end, take a 12” piece of floss, and knot in the middle. Fold in half. Taking a 6” piece of floss, wrap around the tassel 6 to 8 times approximately ¼” from knot.
